If you are a new student needing financial help, the registration portal provides a comprehensive list of bursaries you may qualify for. We have compiled the list of available bursaries below to assist you further. We encourage you to review the list and identify which bursary may be the best fit for you.

Please ensure that you have read and fully understood the following conditions before submitting your bursary application:

  • Students can apply for more than one bursary category; however, the maximum amount that can be granted per year cannot exceed 20% of the programme fees. It is important to note that this rule may not apply to scholarships. Also, if a student is already on a scholarship, they are not eligible for another bursary.
  • To ensure that your application is considered, it is crucial to submit it before 1 March 2024 along with all the required supporting documents. This includes things like exam results or a letter from a sports union. Please note that applications submitted after the deadline or without the proper documentation will not be considered.
  • Please be aware that all bursary applications are subject to approval and will only be processed after the student registration is finalised. To proceed with the process, the necessary payment must be made at the point of registration. Once the bursary approvals are finalised, a fee credit will be issued to the student.
  • If a student has received a bursary or scholarship approval letter at registration, they can pay using direct EFT and their student number as a reference, subtracting the approved scholarship amount from the amount due.
