
The Emeris Voice Committee is the student representative forum comprised of several chairpersons/ representatives from all the different student committees.
The Emeris Voice Committee meets on a regular basis with campus senior management staff to discuss pertinent topics and promote the interests of the study body they represent. The purpose of the Emeris Voice Committee is to:
- Promote an authentic sense of belonging, loyalty and dedication to the core values of the institution.
- Foster creativity and innovation through embracing diverse ideas and solutions in our commitment to the co-creation of knowledge that transforms individuals and societies.
- Encourage and develop individuals to fulfil their potential and enable them to make meaningful contributions within their spheres of influence.
- Empower individuals to become mindful and ethical active citizens and leaders who produce transformative ideas.
- To facilitate a safe and inclusive environment for critical engagement and sharing of ideas, feedback and reflective practice in the co-creation of shared value.
- Partner with students to take accountability and responsibility for themselves, their academic journey and their lives; and
- Promote a culture of academic excellence, ethical leadership and student participation in all facets of student affairs and the promotion of quality assurance.
