Is my Student Wellness Specialist a professional?
Yes, the Student Wellness specialist is a registered professional, registered as a social worker with the SACSSP or as a registered counsellor with the HPCSA. The student wellness specialist is qualified to provide students with free and confidential counselling consultations, and guidance support.
Only professionally registered counsellors provide counselling at any IIE Campus. Specific to the IIE Vega School Campus, counselling services are provided primarily by the Student Wellness specialist.
