Is the IIE engineering degree internationally recognised?
Yes. The IIE Bachelor of Engineering degrees are accredited with both the Engineering Council of South Africa and the Council on Higher Education. Please see here for information about accreditation with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
The Engineering Council of South Africa is a signatory to the Washington Accord. The Accord outlines the mutual recognition, between the participating bodies, of accredited engineering degree programmes. It also establishes and benchmarks the standard for professional engineering education across those bodies.
