What is the difference between a research masters and a coursework masters?
A research masters is a 100% research degree meaning that you will only complete a single individual research project which is called a dissertation. A coursework masters has a combination of coursework modules and a smaller individual research project called a mini dissertation.
A research masters allows you to focus very deeply on a single topic, where as a coursework masters covers a broader range of topics, but not to the same depth.
