What is Service-learning?

Service learning is an educational approach that combines service to a community with academic learning. The goal of service-learning is to provide students with real-world experiences that complement their academic studies and helps them develop a deeper understanding of the course material. Through their service activities, students actively contribute to the betterment of their community, creating a lasting and meaningful impact. By means of reflection\students can connect their service experiences to their academic work and to their personal and civic growth.
