How do I apply for Condoned Absence for Lecture Attendance?
If the reason for missing a compulsory lecture session aligns to The IIE’s Assessment Criteria, Minimum Standards and Procedures (PDIIE009) which includes “Typical legitimate reasons for an application for deferred opportunities”, Student Teachers can make an application on The Student Hub and the lecture absence can be condoned. The application for condoned absence from Compulsory Lecture Attendance must be lodged on the Student Hub within five working days of the missed lecture sessions, with the required supporting documentation. The onus is on the student to manage timelines accordingly.
