What is the school placement process?
Teaching Experience School Placements (Contact Campus):
School-based WIL takes place in suitable South African schools, as determined by The IIE campus. The campus TE Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that students are placed within school environments that accord with the DHET’s specifications. As such, the campus TE Coordinator works with partner schools to secure student placements and continues to establish links with new schools annually.
Who is my campus contact for Teaching Experience School Placements?
The TE Coordinator (TEC) is responsible for the Teaching Experience school placements on your campus. You can contact your campus TEC via email or make an appointment. Please note, campuses are not able to accommodate specific student placement requests for specific schools.
