Who can provide me with a fit-and-proper certification?

To register a contract of articles of clerkship with the Legal Practice Council requires of the prospective candidate legal practitioner to provide two letters not older than 3 months and emanating from persons of good standing in the community or legal fraternity.  The letters should aver that the candidate is a ‘fit-and-proper’ person and possessed of a character suitable for admission to the legal profession.  Amongst others, your lecturers may be approached to provide you with such letter.
