Can I transfer from the Bachelor of Commerce to the Bachelor of Accounting qualification?
If you have met the initial admission requirements, you may transfer from Bachelor of Commerce into Bachelor of Accounting. If not, alternative admission requirements apply. These are as follows:
The student should not take up any credits for the first year of Bachelor of Commerce and is required to meet the following admission requirements:
- The student must pass all BCom modules in one year (120 credits),
- AND achieved at least 70% for each of the ACBP modules on BCom in the previous academic year (not an average of 70%)
Should the above requirements not be met, the student will unfortunately not be granted admission into the Bachelor of Accounting.
