The weighting allocated to each formative assessment indicates the importance associated to the specific assessment. Each formative assessment in a module has a weighting associated to the assessment point, and each result achieved is multiplied by the appropriate weighting, giving a weighted score contributing to the overall result for the module.
You can find the weightings of each of your formatives for each of your modules under the Assessment section in the Module Outline or Module Manual. All Module Outlines and Module Manuals for each module you are registered for in the specific academic term can be found under your module code on the course menu bar available in your learning management system (ARC).
