Own serious illness/injury | Valid medical certificate indicating a serious illness/injury. Medical certificate must cover the assessment date that was missed. |

Resident Visa renewal appointments | Relevant appointment letter confirming appointment date for visa renewal |
Court Appearance | Certified copy of the subpoena |
Victim of a crime | A formal police crime report detailing the incident/crime and the student involvement as well as a case number. |
National and regional unrests | If not widely published in the news, additional documentation is required. |
