As a registered full time, contact student you will automatically be registered to write at the campus you are registered with. However, in cases where a contact student is repeating a module and studying or working at another location, the student may apply to write their assessment/s in a different location. This application must be made via Emeris Assist at least10 working days before the scheduled assessment date.
Please note that when applying to write in a different location, for locations where there is no Emeris campus or centre, the onus is on you, the student:
- to identify a site such as a religious site or an embassy/consulate or educational institution to write. Should you be in hospital you can make similar arrangements there.
- To identify a suitable invigilator.
- To submit an officially letter from site and invigilator confirming they are willing to assist with your examinations, which must be submitted with your application via Emeris Assist under the "Assessments and Results" tab
- To cover the above and any other additional costs.
The examination will be written at the same time as it is being written in South Africa.
Should you require any additional assistance, please feel free to contact your campus Student Relations Specialist (SRS).
